New EP 'My Kind Of Crazy' out NOW!

Shine On (Lyrics)

It’s been a long day
It’s been a long way down and out, till now
And its safe to say I’ve made my misakes

But it’s not too late

We all Shine On
We all just want
To feel better now yeah
I’m feeling better now yeah

When will we see
That we can be one
When we Shine On

Gonna make a change
And at the same time, I’ll find what’s right
And its safe to say I can’t wait

For a brand new day

We all Shine On
We all just want
To feel better now yeah
I’m feeling better now yeah

When will we see
That we can be one
When we Shine On

All That I Need (Lyrics)

You’re Beautiful, and when you smile
Girl you light me up oh you drive me wild

You’re Beautiful, no matter what you do
From the way you laugh to the way you move
The way you move

And I can do anything
As long as I have

You, You and our love is
True, True there’s nothing I wont
Do, Do as long as you’re beside me
You’re all that I need

You’re Beautiful, with big brown eyes
You see the good in me, you see the brighter side

You’re Beautiful, I love the sound of your voice
Like a melody it drowns out the noise
The noise

And I can do anything
As long as I have

You,You and our love is
True, True there’s nothing I wont
Do, Do as long as you’re beside me
You’re all that I need

Yeah-ah-ah

As long as I have

You,You and our love is
True, True there’s nothing I wont
Do, Do as long as you’re beside me
You’re all that I need

Not For Me (Lyrics)

Stuck in this small town again
Same four streets they’ve always been
Every time I leave I get pulled back in

Mom’s been working two dead jobs
The unemployment line a lot
Is this the kind of life I really want

Is this enough
Is this enough

Not for me, I know
I need to see, to know
Is the grass really greener on the other side, livin
This big city life

Same old names same faces
All content, complacent
But I’m always chasing down my dreams

Dad’s been working away from home
The only job he’s ever known
But I can’t see me going down that road

Is this enough
Is this enough

Not for me, I know
I need to see, to know
Is the grass really greener on the other side, livin
This big city life

Shooting Star (Lyrics)

Every time I close my eyes
It’s your face I see at night
Lying next to you in this bed
Sweet blue eyes stuck in my head

Stuck in my head

You’re the one that’s in my heart
You are my shooting star
When my heart stops beating you’re my kick-start
You are my shooting star

Ah Ah Ahaha Oh Oh
Ah Ah Ahaha Oh Oh

The feeling I get when you’re in the room
My temperature rises like a rocket to the moon
You’re like a candle burning bright
My shining star you light up my night

You light up my night

You’re the one that’s in my heart
You are my shooting star
When my heart stops beating you’re my kick-start
You are my shooting star

Ah Ah Ahaha Oh Oh
Ah Ah Ahaha Oh Oh

You’re the one that’s in my heart
You are my-y-y

You’re the one that’s in my heart
You are my shooting star
When my heart stops beating you’re my kick-start
You are my shooting star

You’re the one that’s in my heart
You are my shooting star
When my heart stops beating you’re my kick-start
You are my shooting star

Ah Ah Ahaha Oh Oh
Ah Ah Ahaha Oh Oh
Ah Ah Ahaha Oh Oh

You’re the one, my shooting star

My Kind Of Crazy (Lyrics)

She drives a white BMW
Top down from 1992
Oo oh oh oh oh
Beach crazy, bikini lady
Only cares about her friends
But when the night comes
And the party starts
The craziness begins

So would you dance with me tonight
Sing with me one last time
Or would you rather fight?
Cause b b b b baby
You’re my kind of crazy
Oh oh oh oh
b b b b Baby
You’re my kind of crazy

Southern belle turned California queen
A life of sunshine and sandy dreams
Oo oh oh oh oh
Boy crazy, my little lady
Material girl till the end
But when the night comes
She lets her hair down
And the fun times begin

So would you dance with me tonight
Sing with me one last time
Or would you rather fight
Cause b b b b baby
You’re my kind of crazy
Oh oh oh oh
b b b b Baby
You’re my kind of crazy

West coast baby
Golden Coast crazy
Just count it with me
5,4,3,2,1

Would you dance with me tonight
Sing with me one last time
Or would you rather fight
Cause b b b b baby
You’re my kind of crazy
Oh oh oh oh
b b b b Baby
You’re my kind of crazy

Hello from Florida … and good-bye (for now) to the U.S.! We had a nice show at the Destin Hard Rock last night. We played a 45-minute set and mixed it up with originals – all 5 songs from our EP plus “Hand in Hand” and “Rising Tide” – and covers. We were happy that the crowd knew all the words to “My Kind of Crazy” and helped us sing it. It was also really fun to share the stage with Too Many Humans from the local town of Fort Walton Beach! It was our first show since our first radio plays in the U.S. It may have been an intimate setting, but we were thankful to have an enthusiastic crowd to help us have a great time. This was our last show on this leg of the tour, and while we’re sad to leave, we know we’ll be back soon! Our next show is an acoustic one on Valentine’s Day at the Freeway Café in Hamilton, ON. Hope we’ll see you there!

Hi from Gatlinburg, TN! We’re having a great time on our tour, and were lucky enough to get to play 3 sets last night at the Hard Rock Café:  2 electric sets and a 30-minute acoustic set, which even included an unplugged version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.” It was the biggest crowd we’ve seen on the tour so far, and they also heard us do all 5 songs off our EP, our 2 new originals (“Hand in Hand” and “Rising Tide”) and a mix of other covers. We really felt the energy of the crowd and were happy to send them home so many of our posters and CDs! We have one more stop in the U.S. in Destin, FL on January 18 before we head back to Canada, so if you’re in the area, we hope we’ll see you there.

Here’s a shot of us having a great time in Philadelphia, PA last night. What a welcoming city! It was, hands down, our favourite stop of the Tour so far, and we want to thank everyone who showed up to see us. We were totally excited to see the Hard Rock Café packed while we played a 30 minute set of our original songs:  all five from the EP, plus the all-new “Hand in Hand” and “Rising Tide.” We even caught the audience singing along to our single “My Kind of Crazy”! The band Keep Em Low and the headliner I Call Fives both put on a really great show, and it was fun to get to play with them. We can’t wait to come back soon and are sorry we couldn’t stay longer this time. We’re headed to Gatlinburg, TN next. Hope to see some of you there on Saturday night!

Just wanted to share a quick photo with you from our first time in Pittsburgh last night. The show also featured Gabby Barrett and the acoustic headliner Kenny Sukitch. We played 5 songs from our EP plus our new original “Hand in Hand” and an acoustic version of “Too Close” by Alex Care along with a handful of covers. We’ve been invited back for the Pittsburgh Hard Rock Café’s Summer and Spring concert series, so we hope we’ll get to visit again soon. We also just found out we got our first radio plays in the U.S. this past week with “My Kind of Crazy” and “Shooting Star.” So, a special thanks to the guys at “Flight Test” on 96.1 WKZQ in Myrtle Beach, SC, RIFF2 from 101.1 in Detroit and to Don Campau from the streaming “No Pigeonholes” show in CA. Keep listening out for us in your area, and if you listen to these two shows, definitely request to hear us more often. We really appreciate everyone who came out in Pittsburgh, supported us and bought our CDs. We’re already in Philly, PA and looking forward to another great set tonight!
